Client Details
Our client, based in Brussels, is a Belgian company specialized in innovative transports thanks to electronics systems and wireless technologies. In order to support its development and to make its engineering structure more efficient, the company is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager who would take charge of the development of mechanical part for new products.
Description
In close collaboration with the Hardware Manager, you have:
- The opportunity to manage a team of qualified Mechanical and Design Engineers
- The responsibility to develop and to evaluarte mechanical parts of new technologies related to the urban transport
- The chance to develop innovative solutions and to manage the product development roadmap
- The opportunity to manage the planning, analyze the risks and coordinate the tasks with various stakeholders
- The responsability to support industrial design team to design new concepts and evaluate technical feasibility by rapid prototyping
Profile
- You have a Master in Mechanical Engineering
- You have at least 8 years of experience in project management for the industry/ manufacturing (transport, urban technologies, ...)
- You have at least 5 years of experience in people management
- You have an experience with metallic and plastic part/sub-assy development with a strong partnership with a designer
- An experience for designing mechanical parts is a plus
- You are curious and want to contribute to the development of a familial company
- You speak French fluently and have very good notions in English
- You are organized, flexible and have leadership skills
Job Offer
