For one of our clients, active in construction, Hays Sales is currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to handle a portfolio of spare parts distributors.
The purpose of the job is to handle a client's portfolio of distributors in several countries. You are responsible to develop and monitor the business plans of your distributors. You assign them targets and advise them in order to reach the objectives. You are responsible for your own budget (P&L). To support the activities of the distributors, you also give them technical trainings. You are also responsible to develop proactively specific marketing actions and help them implement it. As their single point of contact, you do the whole follow-up regarding any after sales issue. You are mainly on the field to visit your clients and ensure an efficient and win-win collaboration. You report directly to your team leader and work closely with other internal departments. Finally, you must be willing to travel 30-40% of your time.
The ideal candidate holds a master degree and have a first successful B2B experience in a technical environment. As you are in contact with distributors of spare parts in other countries, you must be fluent in English. Any other European language is an asset. We are looking for someone who is interested in technical products and complex environments. You are communicative, assertive and able to motivate and give trainings. You are autonomous and organized. Besides, you have analytical skills and can turn your findings into concrete actions in order to achieve the targets. Finally, you are willing to travel in Europe and/or Africa.
